Oh my goodness, we’ve been nominated and now shortlisted for 2 awards, and we’d love your help to get to the final round!!

Allergy Blog Award - nominated in Allergy Blog of the Year and also Free From Recipe

Wow, we’ve been shortlisted for 2 awards in the Allergy Blog Awards UK, what a way to start the week!

Thank you so much to everyone who nominated us, we are so touched that people have taken the trouble to vote for us!

We’re absolutely blown away to have been shortlisted, especially as there were many blogs nominated, and only a select few have got round to the 2nd stage and the public vote!

What started as a little blog of ramblings to deal with the very difficult situation we were in with Callum and his health, has turned into a growing website, helping thousands all over the world. It’s humbling to know that our work is helping so many, and we hope we will be able to continue to do so for a long time to come.

We now need lots of help to get us to the final of the Allergy Blog Awards UK!

We really need your help!

Amazingly, we have been shortlisted in 2 categories!!

Voting is open now until 30th November 2016, and is live now! It would mean so very much to us if you would consider voting for us to enable us to continue helping the people who need it most.

To vote for us, simply click on the link below:

choose ‘The Intolerant Gourmand’ in these 2 categories:

  • Allergy Blog of the Year
  • Free From Recipes

Please also show some love for the other amazing blogs listed in the other categories, at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to raise as much awareness as possible to make the allergy world a safer and better one!

What does winning mean for The Intolerant Gourmand?

It’s a really big deal for us to be part of these awards, and to even be acknowledged and shortlisted is truly amazing. To win an award would not only help us to be recognised in the UK for what we do, it also helps us to increase PR and marketing for our site – which will help us reach even more people!

And, it’s also boosted confidence massively – it’s tough going to run a large website, in an emotive and difficult arena, and trying to keep everything going when dealing with a poorly child. Being recognised for what you’re doing, and trying to achieve is beyond measure. There have been so many times when you feel like giving up, wondering if all the hard work is really helping, struggling to keep little dude from being back in hospital, and running on little or no sleep.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us see that it IS helping, we ARE making a difference, and we CAN do it!

And finally…

To every single one of you lovely readers who’ve supported us, helped us, and guided us since our launch, we are so very grateful!

Our vision back then was to attempt to change the way allergies are seen, and try to improve the allergy situation in the UK and eventually world wide.

We’ve made huge waves in the time since we’ve launched, with many more projects in the pipeline, so watch this space and please keep with us on our journey!

We do everything we do, for Callum, and for you!

Callum - living with 28 severe allergies and the reason why Intolerant Gourmand was set up!

Please vote for us in the Allergy Blog Awards UK
