Anyone who has allergies, or is dealing with allergies, will tell you that decent tasting allergy safe chocolate is hard to come by!

Some of the larger supermarket outlets or health food shops will sometimes stock the specialist chocolates such as Kinnerton, Plamil or Moo Free. However, I have found it increasingly difficult to source, particularly over the past few weeks.

I’ve been trying to find an alternative that doesn’t cost the earth so that Callum doesn’t miss out, and came across a wonderful company a couple of weeks ago, on twitter!

Callum was one very lucky boy last week! He had a very special package delivered from this company, which made his day!

Actually scrap that, it made his week, month, possibly even his year!

What was this package?

An amazing box filled with dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free and child friendly chocolate, created by the wonderful No Muu company!

If you’ve never heard of them, I really recommend you check them out!

When Callum opened his package he found:

  • Dark chocolate dinosaurs
  • White chocolate robots
  • Dark chocolate bar with raspberries

To say he was delighted was an understatement!

I pilfered a bit of the dinosaur and robot chocolates, for quality sampling purposes – honest! And OMG they tasted heavenly.

Seriously, if I didn’t know any better, I would have thought they were ‘normal’ chocolate, the kind you get from Hotel Chocolat!

Amazing stuff!

So, who is No Muu, and how did they come about?!

As is often the case with allergy products, it stems from the entrepreneurial genius of a mum dealing with allergies, and sick of seeing their little one miss out/ go without. What is the best way of overcoming this? By creating a fab new product, which is how ‘No Muu’ was born. Not only do they create fabulous chocolate, they also include cakes and sweet treats in their impressive range.

The company is so new, they are still constructing their website, but I am absolutely certain that the more people hear about them, the bigger and quicker their success.

Keep a look out for them, they are one to watch, and most definitely one to try and they definitely get the Intolerant Gourmand 5 star seal of approval!

Thanks for the review. I've been struggling with dairyfree chocolate as it all tastes horrible. Off to check out this company.
