So, it was crunch time. After months of fighting, and finally getting the allergy testing done that Callum desperately needed, we now faced a new monumental challenge! I thought it was going to be so easy once his allergies were confirmed. I'd know what to keep him away from, and still be able to feed him with no problem, and finally have the chance to try and get his eczema under control. How very wrong I was!

I now had to come up with some sort of workable solution so that Callum could actually eat as normal as possible with the amount of restrictions he would need to get him better.

Taking what little advice we'd received from the dietician, I decided to go and start investigating what our local supermarket had to offer. I must have been a right sight!! There I was, quite literally walking slowly up and down every single aisle, with a notepad and pen, writing down a list of 'safe' products for Callum. Gone were the days where I would shop in an almost trance like  autopilot state, trying to get the task done as quickly as possible, buying the key ingredients for the week ahead.

It was incredible to find out quite how many products I thought would be safe, that weren't! I really had taken for granted how easy it had been with Chloe, this was going to take some doing to get Callum eating decent food every day.

I was close to crumpling at this point if honest, I was taking on an absolutely huge challenge, this was going to be a whole lifestyle change, re-educating myself and the way I cook, and I wasn't sure whether I would be able to find a solution at all! This was for my precious baby boy, I didn't have the option of failing or giving up, even if I wanted to!
